Companies and energy talent meet at Energy Career Event

Published on

The energy transition requires the best and brightest companies, innovations and people. Entrepreneurs and students from vocational up to university level and (young) professionals meet each other online during the ‘Meet Your Future Career Event’ on Thursday, April 22 from 15:00 to 17:00 hours. Participation is free, and companies who want a virtual ‘stand’ at the information market, to submit vacancies, organize a workshop or otherwise want to participate can still register with the Energy Academy of New Energy Coalition.

The energy transition is one of today’s greatest challenges. The best and brightest companies, innovations and people are needed to bring about this enormous transformation. Energy is a key sector, both on a global scale and in the Dutch economy. The northern region is recognized as the center for energy transition. The online event is an opportunity for innovative companies to meet energy talent from across the country and vice versa.

‘If you want to be at the forefront of the energy transition, start or boost your energy career, and bring innovative ideas to fruition, the Northern Netherlands is the place to be,’ says New Energy Coalition project manager Linda Flanderijn. ‘We are therefore also looking forward to connecting energy talent and innovative businesses with this event.’

About Meet Your Future in Energy Career Event

The online career event offers the same opportunities as a physical event: workshops, 1-on-1 meetings, touring the digital booths, leaving resumes and interesting networking conversations. The digital platform offers plenty of opportunities, for (inter)national talent and companies to get in touch with each other. The event is open to students from vocational up to university level and to (young) professionals. The sustainable connection and attraction of talent and business in the northern Netherlands is an initiative of New Energy Coalition’s Energy Academy.  Registration is free via Energy Academy
