Car(bon) Free Tuesday for New Energy Coalition employees
On 12 June New Energy Coalition employees will leave their (fossil-fuelled) cars at home as part of the Car Free Tuesday campaign. Car Free Tuesday is a campaign initiative by Enexis company (holding company of partner Enpuls) to abandon the car and choosing a sustainable alternative for commuter traffic.
Choosing sustainable options in the way we work and travel on Car Free Tuesday, people can experience to travel sustainably and thereby change everyday habits. Employees can go to work –for instance– by bicycle, afoot, by public transport or by carpooling. Working from home can be an option.
Following to Car Free Tuesday the amount of carbon emission saved by the New Energy Coalition employees will be summarised.
