Kick-off webinar ‘Green across the border’
In April this year, the Interreg project ‘Green across the border’ was launched. Part of the project is the development of a cross-border stakeholder analysis. In this analysis the project partners look at the possibilities for German-Dutch cooperation in the EU region Rhine-Waal in the field of alternative fuels – CNG, LNG, BioCNG, BioLNG – and electric transport with battery and fuel cell. The partners are investigating which different propulsion systems and alternative fuels can be meaningfully used in cross-border freight traffic in the period 2020-2030.
Identification topics
For this analysis, the project partners want to bring stakeholders together and identify topics that are suitable for future collaboration. This should result in possible further cross-border activities in the border region or common areas of interest. These activities will in turn have to result in new future projects.
German-Dutch network
In the coming year, ‘Green across the Border’ aims to give new encouragement to the use of less environmentally damaging fuels for trucks in the border region. This requires expert partners and parties who can work with us and want to discuss methods, goals and challenges.
Groen across the border wants to build a German-Dutch network with market parties and knowledge partners. In order to achieve this, we would like to see your organisation become part of our network project. We will be happy to discuss the subject with you in order to identify possible applications.
