H2 Grand Prix RWE European Championship
Students and teachers from nine different European countries are coming to Groningen for the H2 Grand Prix RWE European Championship. This championship is organised by Alfa-college, Noorderpoort and Hanzehogeschool. On 21 June, the teams will race against each other in the Kardinge ice hall with hydrogen-powered RC cars. Various activities on energy and hydrogen will also take place on that day, with learning from and with each other playing an important role.
Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix
The Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix offers students from secondary vocational, intermediate and higher vocational schools the chance to convert electrically powered RC model cars into hybrid hydrogen-powered vehicles. This challenge culminates in an exciting endurance race, where the endurance of the cars is key.
