2nd meeting researchagenda
13.30-17.00h, Energy Academy Europe, 5159.0029
New Energy Coalition bundles research efforts for the purpose of the energy transition. One of our goals is to create an overview of the energy research landscape and use it to fulfil our vision of the energy transition. To achieve this, we are currently drafting a research agenda that will be a guide to obtain the knowledge necessary to transition from our current energy system to a sustainable alternative. New Energy Coalition doesn’t do this by itself: we gather input from researchers, companies and societal partners to put the right focus to our agenda, such that the projects that arise from the agenda have a maximised contribution to the knowledge development necessary inside our network.
On December 2, academic and applied researchers will meet representatives from our societal and industrial partners to discuss the content of the draft research agendas, exchange ideas and explore the possibilities for joint projects. In this specific meeting, we will focus on our key themes Local Energy Systems, Industrial Transformation and North Sea as an Energy Region.
The programme of the afternoon is as follows:
13:30 | Welcome & introduction (plenary) |
14:00 | Per theme group; presentation(s) of interest groups, discussion of draft research agenda |
