What determines the price of green hydrogen?
Green hydrogen is more expensive than blue hydrogen, and blue hydrogen is more expensive than gray. But for how much longer? The industry – such as Industrial Cluster East Groningen – is eager for climate-friendly alternatives to fossil fuels, but the cost of green hydrogen is high. In the short term, this cost will remain a problem, but in the longer term, prices will fall sharply. Mission H2 has – just like last year – delved into the finances of hydrogen and is trying to outline future price developments.
