Energy transition in Noord-Holland Noord – Q3 2025 Review
That in our work area, Noord-Holland NoordImportant steps are being taken to modernize the energy system, which became clear in the past quarter. In this review, we outline some of these developments, which the coalition has been working on.
Five years of the Regional Deal, hydrogen safety in ports and tackling grid congestion
In the third quarter of 2025, we worked with partners on concrete solutions to improve the energy system in Noord-Holland Noord To help move forward. In this retrospective, we look back on five years of successful collaborations and innovations from the Regional Deal in the Kop van Noord-Holland region, the launch of the white paper "From Congestion to Capacity" on collective solutions for grid congestion, and meetings such as the joint REFORMERS-POCITYF event in Alkmaar. We also highlight the installation of a 2 MWh battery at InVesta on the Boekelermeer, shared the results of hydrogen safety research during the Offshore Experience, and three colleagues from New Energy Coalition interviewed by Nederland Hydrogenland to highlight innovative hydrogen projects in the region.
