Resilicon is developing a factory in Delfzijl for the production of ultra-pure polysilicon, a key intermediate for solar panels, batteries, and chips, with the aim of reducing European industry's dependence on foreign suppliers and strengthening strategic raw material chains. The factory aims to Resilicon from Noord-Nederland To help build a European ecosystem for green industrial technology. Currently, work is underway on the basic design of the factory and the financing. The final investment decision is expected in early 2027.
