Goal
WhyCareMore (Wauctions, HYdry and CAcarbon dioxide: improved REactors and Micro Oorganisms for Rrenewable EEnergy Applications) involves the development of business models for improved biogas technologies through collaboration between knowledge institutes, large companies, and SMEs active in biogas. Additionally, we are working to support energy cooperatives to improve the social acceptance of anaerobic digestion plants.
Description
Green gas will play a key role in the transition to a sustainable energy supply. WhyCareMore contributes to maximizing the volume of green gas from difficult-to-process biomass streams such as roadside grass and natural grass.
Our role
New Energy Coalition provides information from the network on relevant developments in the field of green gas and related business cases. We also play an active role in developing a methodology to support energy cooperatives in gaining public acceptance for fermentation plants.
