Waterstof Werkt: H2 Train and Learn Hub
Facts
Project duration: - Budget: € 10.090.395 Grantor: JTF & NPGDeveloping education and conducting research in the field of hydrogen.
Goal
The aim of Hydrogen Works: H2 Train and Learn Hub is to make several thousand well-trained, additional workers ready and available to meet the challenges of the hydrogen economy in Noord-Nederland. Essential to this is cooperation within education and alignment with business needs.
Description
Hydrogen is playing an increasingly important role in the energy transition, as it can replace fossil fuels and serve as a long-term storage solution for renewable electricity to balance our electricity system. In developing the hydrogen economy, it's essential to ensure a sufficient number of skilled workers for this new technology and applications. This project, through its partnership with education and businesses, ensures the availability of a qualified workforce to address the hydrogen challenges.
Our role
We are the project coordinator and lead partner. We are also active in various work packages, where we, as work package leader, organize and implement public activities and networking events related to hydrogen. Furthermore, we are developing a platform to match supply and demand in the labor market and identify education and training opportunities in the field of hydrogen.
