What determines the price of green hydrogen?
Green hydrogen is more expensive than blue hydrogen, and blue hydrogen is more expensive than grey. But for how long? Industry – such as IndustieCluster Oost-Groningen – is eager for climate-friendly alternatives to fossil fuels, but the cost price of green hydrogen is high. In the short term, that cost price remains a problem; in the longer term, prices will fall sharply. Missie H2 – like last year – has delved into the finances of hydrogen and tries to outline future price trends and wrote an article about it in Dutch.
