New Energy Coalition partner in ITEG hydrogen project
New Energy Coalition is a partner in the 'Integrating Tidal Energy into the European Grid' (ITEG) project, which started in June. The ITEG project aims to develop an integrated solution for generating sustainable energy, taking into account grid limitations in remote areas. The project brings together 10 partners from the private and public sectors and runs until mid-2021.

ITEG is developing and validating an integrated tidal energy and hydrogen production solution for clean energy generation, which will be demonstrated in Orkney. The project focuses on energy-related carbon emissions in Northwest Europe and will address grid constraints in remote communities.
