New Energy Coalition is a continuously growing network of 120+ partners and members. Together with these knowledge institutions, companies, governments and NGOs, we are working to accelerate the energy transition for a sustainable future. As a driving force, we bring together knowledge, policy, education and entrepreneurship. From educating students through New Energy Academy and energy professionals through New Energy Business School to energy research and concrete energy projects. Internship description
As an intern, you will work in the Marketing & Communications team. This department is responsible for the corporate communication of New Energy Coalition, its projects and the New Energy Academy brand. Your work will vary in activities in the field of social media, website, newsletters, design work, event communication, project communication but equally in thinking along and collaborating on the strategic side of communication and marketing.
Guidance and assignment
We find it important to tailor your internship to your needs and expertise as much as possible. Your development is central during this period. The supervisor helps you combine learning and working and apply theory in practice. Your ‘buddy’ acts as a daily sparring partner.
Specific assignments are possible:
- (online) communication of New Energy Academy
- creating content for positioning our experts
- help to organise and communicate about events (depending on planning)
- creating videos for online use
Internship requirements
- At least college or university level (must)
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both written and oral
- Background in communication or marketing (or related studies)
- Affinity with the energy transition and/or sustainability
- You are motivated, take initiative, show commitment and take responsibility for your own learning process
- Team player

- Remuneration of €350 per month
- Good coordination between work and school assignments/research
- Regular supervision meetings with your supervisor from New Energy Coalition
