The Netherlands is working hard on developing and implementing the hydrogen economy, resulting in initiatives and innovations following each other in rapid succession. Streamlining fragmented regulations

That is why Omgevingsdienst Noord-Holland Noord, in collaboration with the environmental services of the Noordzeekanaalgebied, IJmond and Flevoland & Gooi and Vechtstreek, have developed the document Frequently Asked Questions and Answers Hydrogen Initiatives. This initiative was substantively supported by New Energy Coalition and LTO-Noord.

Publishing the Q&A on hydrogen permits represents an important step in accelerating the implementation of hydrogen initiatives. By streamlining permitting processes, we offer initiators a tangible framework to get started. What starts with four environmental services can grow into a nationwide transformation. This is also an essential step towards achieving the ambitions of the European Green Deal and the Clean Industrial Deal to accelerate permitting procedures.
