Small-scale Mono-manure fermentation
During this symposium, high-profile speakers will share their knowledge and experience. There will also be room for interaction and dialogue. An initiative of the Green Gas Platform and the Frisian Environmental Federation.
Mono-manure fermentation
A topic that's constantly evolving, with new perspectives and approaches constantly emerging. But what do we actually know about this process? How do experts view this topic from their various disciplines and experiences? And perhaps even more importantly: what's your perspective on this topic? During this symposium, high-profile speakers will share their knowledge and experience. There will also be room for interaction and dialogue.
Speakers
Bert van Asselt | Senior Biomass and Bioenergy Advisor at RVO
Bert van Asselt is a chemical (process) engineer specializing in chemical engineering. After completing his studies, he began his career as a consultant at an international consultancy and engineering firm. Since 1998, he has worked at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, and has held various positions related to bioenergy, bio-based raw materials, and the biobased economy.
Ruud Paap | Program Manager for Greening the Gas Chain at New Energy Coalition
Ruud Paap focuses on bio-based feedstocks from methane-containing gases, also known as biogas/bio-based feedstocks, bio-LNG and other green gases, fermentation, and gasification. Part of his work involves business development, but knowledge sharing and consulting also play a key role in getting green gas projects off the ground. He is affiliated with Green Gas Platform and on TKI New Gas.
Jan Dirk van Mourik | Agricultural expert by experience
Jan Dirk van Mourik is a dairy farmer from Winsum, Friesland, with a passion for sustainability. Thanks to a range of smart solutions, his farm produces more energy than it uses. For example, the cooling heat from the milk is used to replace natural gas, the barn roofs are covered with solar panels, and he generates green gas from manure.
The solar panels generate enough power to power 200 households, and they also produce green grass for 350 households. Jan Dirk also works for FrieslandCampina.
Ids van der Ploeg | Knowledge Development Advisor Earning Capacity Frisian Environmental Federation
Ids van der Ploeg is committed to knowledge development within the Frisian Environmental Federation regarding revenue models in the agricultural sector. He is particularly committed to the NL2120 Green Earning Capacity program. He has a background in agriculture and has held various advisory roles.
Titia Jippes | Lawyer and Arable Farmer
As a board member of the Marrum village association, Titia Jippes became involved with biodigestion in the village. Since then, she has followed all developments in the field of biodigestion and supports local residents and village groups involved with manure digestion.
