POCITYF–REFORMERS event in Alkmaar
On September 15th, the Prinsenzaal (Prince's Hall) of Alkmaar City Hall will be dedicated to the energy transition. This private event will bring together two major European projects: POCITYF en REFORMERS.
POCITY & REFORMERS
As Lighthouse City Alkmaar plays a leading role in POCITYF, which focuses on energy-positive buildings in the city. At the same time, REFORMERS in the Flagship Valley – the De Boekelermeer business park and residential area in Heiloo – integrated solutions for the development of a Renewable Energy Valley.
A day to look back, but especially to look ahead.
During the event, we'll delve into the stories of both projects. Topics such as advanced energy technologies, participation, urban governance, and digital systems will be discussed. During the interactive workshop Bold City Vision Participants will collaboratively develop future scenarios for inclusive and resilient cities. The afternoon will focus on the locations where the projects are making an impact, with a tour of the De Meent sports complex and the Noordertogt apartment building – where major sustainability improvements have been implemented as part of the POCITYF project – and a visit to InVesta and HVC to learn more about the energy hub and the bioenergy plant at Boekelermeer.
