H2 Knowledge Café: From project to realization
The H₂ Knowledge Café is the place to bundle knowledge, experience and capital and take concrete steps together in the hydrogen economy in Noord-Holland Noord.
Theme
This year, we're visiting Next Generation Machinery at their brand-new facility in Schagen. There, we'll be introduced to the latest innovations from this progressive player in the hydrogen economy. Noord-Holland Noord.
Together with the North Sea Canal Area Programme Office (NZKG) and the Province of Noord-Holland, we have updated the Hydrogen Valley map. The updated version provides a clear overview of all projects and demonstrates our collective strength as a hydrogen region.
Ingrid Post, cluster director of the North Sea Canal Area (NZKG), tells us all about this update, where to find it, and how we're collaborating on the hydrogen economy in North Holland.
Sietse Gerssen and Ruud Bakker of Next Generation Machinery will also share their innovative solutions for off-grid energy based on methanol fuel cell technology. Central to his presentation is the development of the 100 kW MOOSE Power mobile charging solution.
Finally, Klaas Jan de Hart, Program Manager 100% Energy Neutral, of the Hollands Noorderkwartier Water Board (HHNK), shares his insights into how wastewater treatment can become more energy-efficient. He is investigating the feasibility of installing an electrolyzer at the wastewater treatment plant, where the released pure oxygen can be used in the purification process.
