Sustainable agriculture in the border region
This project aims to make the agricultural sector in the German-Dutch border region more sustainable, in particular by using biogas from grass surpluses.
Circular agriculture
This project aims to make the agricultural sector in the German-Dutch border region more sustainable, specifically by using biogas from surplus grass. Given the challenges in agriculture – such as high nitrogen and greenhouse gas emissions and inefficient use of resources – technical solutions must be developed to produce biogas more efficiently and reduce emissions.
The project aims to develop business models and feasibility studies for the integration of these technologies on both sides of the border, with an emphasis on innovative technical solutions and circular processes.
Key measures include the analysis of emission sources, the optimization of biogas production, and the production of sustainable fertilizers. The project supports agricultural businesses in becoming climate-neutral and making more efficient use of locally available raw materials.
As a stakeholder, you are cordially invited to this first networking event to discuss the next steps and build a strong network for innovation and knowledge transfer.
