Today, the Dagblad van het Noorden newspaper published impressive news about the construction of a major energy infrastructure project in Eemshaven, scheduled to begin after the summer of 2025. This represents a significant investment by TenneT in our energy region. "Soon, a third of our national electricity needs will be transported across the country via Eemshaven," the newspaper stated.
A considerable step, also within the plan 'New Energy for Groningen' – a look ahead for Noord-Nederland as an energy region, compiled in collaboration with dozens of government agencies, knowledge institutions and companies from Noord-Nederland.
