Wetsus

Wetsus, based in the city of Leeuwarden, creates breakthrough innovations in water technology through a unique collaboration between more than 100 international companies and 20 European universities, aiming to strengthen each other through their agreement. Based on the synergy between their respective focus areas, water technology and energy transition both have a significant overlap, which can be used to drive sustainable solutions in both areas.

DNV, an international consultancy known for globally recognized testing, provides expertise in wind and solar energy, transmission and distribution, grids, storage, and e-mobility.

Stronger together

The partners hope the agreement will enable them to collaborate on driving smart solutions in the energy transition. Both organizations believe this transition will only be successful when a mix of energy sources is deployed simultaneously. Together, they possess extensive knowledge and a network to research and test the widest possible range of applications, and to bring together parties that can make this mix possible.
