New Energy Coalition leader in energy transition
Groningen – Today presented New Energy Coalition officially presented itself to the public for the first time. This took place during the New Year's reception at the Energy Academy Europe on the Zernike Campus Groningen with the unveiling of the new logo. New Energy Coalition is the knowledge and expertise center for energy transition and is the result of the merger of three organizations that have made their mark in this field for many years – the Energy Valley, Energy Academy Europe, and Energy Delta Institute foundations.
Knowledge and experience in-house
Through broad coalition formation with knowledge institutions such as University of Groningen en Hanze University of Applied Sciences GroningenWe have all the knowledge and experience in-house for the energy sector, government, and industry. The years of development of the Energy Valley region as an "energy transition region" have laid a solid foundation upon which to build.ew Energy Coalition is the response to the cabinet's call for Noord-Nederland to become a leader in the energy transition,' said director Gertjan Lankhorst. 'This organization was founded to unite parties that can make a difference and take the lead in the energy transition. We will work on specific themes that we consider essential to realize this transition.'
