New Energy Academy 2019 Award Ceremony Celebrated
New Energy Coalition looks back on another successful academic year for the New Energy Academy student program. During this year's Energy Academy Graduation Ceremony, 30 Energy Academy Certificates and 8 Declarations of Participation were awarded. For the first time, a vocational student (Noorderpoort, Groningen) participated in the program and proudly received a Declaration of Participation.
Highlights of the year
This year, the New Energy Academy organized 34 successful Energy Learning Activities, with highlights including the Google lecture, the Excursion to Paris & Brussels with visits to the OECD, IEA, Neth-ER, and the European Parliament, and the Energy Storage lecture. We are also very proud of our collaboration with young changemakers and leaders in the energy sector, such as Forbes 30 under 30 leader Marek Kubik. Furthermore, we brought together future energy professionals and companies from the region during our Energy Learning Activities. first and successful Energy Career Event.
About the New Energy Academy program
New Energy Academy, the student program of New Energy Coalition, encourages students from various programs and disciplines to broaden their perspectives on the energy transition. To obtain the Energy Academy Certificate or the Declaration of Participation, students are invited to participate in the Energy Learning Activities program of New Energy Coalition (as well as completing courses with at least 30 ECTS in interdisciplinary energy education in the case of the certificate). By participating in these activities, students can develop a well-founded and well-considered vision of the energy transition.
