MBA Energy Transition: RUG and NEBS launch master's degree
The University of Groningen Business School (UGBS) and our New Energy Business School (NEBS) are launching a two-year Executive MBA in the Energy Transition: a first for the coalition. The part-time MBA program will begin in 2 and offers a combination of online and offline learning – this hybrid format aligns with the way students are studying in the new reality and facilitates global participation. The program is internationally accredited. Registration opens October, 2021.
Executive MBA Energy Transition
The energy transition poses one of the greatest challenges facing organizations and governments today. One of the key characteristics of this system transformation is the enormous diversity of factors that can determine its success or failure. The Executive Master in Energy Transition addresses a wide range of economic, administrative, technical, societal, legal, and social aspects of the energy transition, preparing participants to play a leading role in this transition.
Programme director of the new Master's degree is Machiel Mulder, professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Groningen: 'The energy sector is changing, and it must change. This requires professionals with excellent management skills, strategic insight and vision, and a deep understanding of the economics and business operations of energy systems amidst all sorts of societal influences. This program has been developed to meet these demands.'
