Groningen hydrogen region shares knowledge in Scotland
A Groningen 'hydrogen delegation' traveled at the invitation of Hydrogen Scotland to Edinburgh. Our general manager, Marieke Abbink-Pellenbarg, also traveled with this delegation to talk about Groningen as a hydrogen region.

This meeting provided an opportunity to present the North of the Netherlands as 'Europe's first Hydrogen Valley (hydrogen region)' to present and learn from Scotland's ambitions and their approach.
The need for collaboration in the North Sea region is becoming increasingly clear. Collaboration between businesses, governments, and knowledge institutions. But also collaboration between regions. Scotland needs to make a similar transition to sustainable energy. This will create a new economic perspective and broad prosperity for the region. This innovation mission has provided renewed energy to tackle this together.
